The Old Fox Club - The member understands the traps

Who are we?

The Old Fox Club was founded by the Glass Innovation Institute (Gii). Our aim is to gather glass-related tacit knowledge from retired and soon-to-be-retired glass experts. We want to pass this information to the next generation and the universities and our members are also ready to help you to find the best solutions to you. Younger experts are more than welcome to exchange views on the development of the glass industry.

This all  will ensure that invaluable (and often unwritten) experience will be inherited and utilized by young generations.

Universities and companies can hire our members to provide training or to help in the development of new products and processes.

Our mission

The Old Fox Club will be the leading knowledge-sharing network for the whole glass value chain by connecting glass experts and designers with young professionals, startups, universities and students.

What we hope from our members?

As the Old Fox Club coordinates all the work, we hope that members will be able to assist in the following areas:

How to participate:

  • Give one presentation voluntarily in educational events arranged by the club (travel expenses will be covered).
  • Assist in finding business partners to sponsor
  • Support the development of the GII
  • Support in applying for EU funding
  • To raise awareness of GII among industry and glass experts
  • We hope you can deliver to the material bank/press: technical articles and presentations/papers/videos/animations/photographs

Our success does not happen without other companies, universities, research institutes and customers.
